A few months ago, we had reported that the president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, had indicated that the Nintendo DSi would not be launched in North America until late 2009. But it seems that American gamers could get the Nintendo DSi by mid-2009 itself!
Gaming news site IGN is reporting that the Nintendo DSi could hit the US in the first half of this year. The sources of this information are multiple sources close to Nintendo, who have revealed this. Apparently, Nintendo has also told their partners that the DSi would be shipped in the United States in April this year.
Apparently, the Nintendo DSi is expected to launch in the US on April 4, 2009. Also, the price of the Nintendo DSi is being speculated to be $179.99 (approx. Rs. 8765). It means that the new console will be a tad expensive. Nintendo, as of now, is keeping mum and have pointed out that they do not comment on speculations and rumors.
