The Nintendo DSi has been around in Japan for quite some time although the American markets are yet to receive this piece of hardware and should do in a few days. In a new move, probably to reiterate the American launch of the DSi, Capcom and Nintendo have announced that they have a new ‘Premium Edition’ DSi handheld console which is going to be released bundled with the upcoming Ace Attorney title Gyakuten Kenji.
Gaming blog Kotaku reports that the bundle which includes a copy of the new Ace Attorney game, will see a “special DSi” said to be Ace Attorney branded, which is basically a regular DSi with some “Ace Attorney stuff on it.” For one that comes with a game bundle, the ‘Premium Edition’ Nintendo DSi seems to be rather minimalistic, although we don’t know if Nintendo and/or Capcom intended it that way.
The Nintendo DSi Ace Attorney Bundle is scheduled for release in Japan on May 28, 2009 and is expected to cost around 23,940 JPY (approx. Rs. 11,915).
