Nintendo Australia has confirmed that the ‘Ice Blue’ Nintendo DS Lite is heading Down Under on July 19, 2007. The Nintendo DS is Australia’s highest selling console for 2006 and 2007. It seems that Nintendo wants to remain in the numero uno position.
Nintendo stated: “With the expansion of the ‘Touch! Generations’ series of products, and the new color, Nintendo DS is positioned perfectly to continue expanding its demographic reach.”
Earlier, Polar White, Onyx (Jet Black) and Coral Pink (Noble Pink) colored DS Lites were introduced by Nintendo. An Enamel Navy version is also available in Japan. The Ice Blue Nintendo DS Lite will be priced at AUD199.95 (approx. Rs. 6600). Who knows, they might even come up with a Yellow colored DS Lite after the Australian cricket team.
