The Elder Scrolls Online getting Craglorn content pack later this month

The Elder Scrolls Online is finally out now, and as if to celebrate the favorable reviews it has received, Bethesda Softworks has announced a content pack named Craglorn for the MMORPG. There’s no word regarding a release date for it, but the game’s makers have clarified that it’ll be dished out as a free update sometime this month.

Craglorn will introduce a new adventure zone for those who have already reached the Veteran rank in The Elder Scrolls Online. It features exploration content as well as quests which are both targeted towards four-player groups. Moreover, this patch will also infuse the game with a new Trials system which features new high difficulty 12-player challenges. As explained by game director Paul Sage, these Trials will include environmental hazards, monsters and boss monsters which employ new tactics.

Set in the extremely popular universe created by Bethesda for its role-playing games, this MMO was released for PC and Mac on April 4 to much fanfare. Developed by ZeniMax Online Studios, it kicks in a mixture of a quests, random events and exploration elements.

A one-time purchase of The Elder Scrolls Online is enough to grant you access to the game for a month, but following that, you’ll need to keep renewing your subscriptions.
