Dawn of Fantasy is an upcoming massively multiplayer online real time strategy title developed by Reverie World Studious which fuses classic RTS elements onto a platform that can be accessible worldwide. 505 Games, the game’s publisher, is now announcing that the game’s fantastical realm will open up for access on PC starting this June.
Dawn of Fantasy depicts a backdrop of Mythador, a massively multiplayer fantasy world that is diplomatically and economically autonomous. In a war-torn in-game terrain, gamers will be able to get a new perspective on the fantasy RTS genre with an unrelenting world war experience. While inhabiting the world, players will live, build, explore and battle against AI controlled strongholds and empires. The game is said to illustrate a rich tapestry of story-driven confrontations which will strengthen the substantial single-player campaign.

The Dawn of Fantasy world is said to evolve through trades and other factors even after the players log off. They can also test their army formations and hierarchies in matched one-on-one multiplayer encounters while they strive for expanding their city-states to become the largest in Mythador. Gamers will be presented with three different playable races, namely elves, men and orcs. Each offers a completely different playing style that is cautiously crafted to balance strengths and weaknesses. The in-game narrative is based on a dramatic historical background and blends diverse storytelling with compelling gameplay to deliver an immersive online strategy experience.
Reportedly, the game’s engine is built considering low system requirements and renders armies of thousands of entities in addition to a vast arsenal of on-screen terrain objects for truly epic battles. Dawn of Fantasy is published by 505 Games and will be released exclusively for PC on June 3, 2011.
