Over the past few months, PopCap has been rolling out numerous titles for various gaming systems. It has been disclosed that the company will launch PopCap Hits Vol. 2 for the Xbox 360 this month. This assortment compiles distinct creations from the company’s lab including Zuma, Heavy Weapon, Plants vs. Zombies and Feeding Frenzy 2.
After making its much anticipated debut on the PSN, Plants vs. Zombies is now gearing up to once again unfold a fight against intruding undead characters on the Xbox 360. Plugged to stretch out the ultimate tower defense gameplay, the title pits gamers against hordes of zombies with an arsenal full of natural vegetation. Players will have to bring peashooters, wall-nuts, cherry bombs and other ammunitions into play as they march forward through five different game modes.

The PopCap Hits series groups together selections of great casual games and makes them available off the shelf as a boxed copy,” explained Mastertronic’s Product Director Neil McKenna. “With over 60% of gamers preferring physical copies of games rather than downloads, we’re delighted to make these great casual titles available on disc to buy in store and online.”
The next game in this collection namely Zuma is a fast-paced puzzle adventure. In this title, players are required to survive in the ancient temple of Zuma by firing magical balls through their stone frog idol. They will need to create a chain with three or more similar balls prior to its advent onto the golden skull.
Those who prefer arcade shooters can immerse in Heavy Weapon which has been packed with 19 story-based missions for upgrading approximately six different weapon banks. Further, it features a survival mode as well as enables players to indulge in co-operative multiplayer battles.
Like a science chapter outlining the food chain, Feeding Frenzy 2 unfurls solo and co-op modes in the underwater world. Boasting of new fishes and over sixty levels, the game allows players to transform from a tiny creature to large-sized whale. It has also been upgraded with a new ability which facilitates the fish to jump out of the water while trying to catch a prey.
PopCap Hit Vol. 2 has been scheduled to hit the Xbox 360 on March 11, 2011 for what has been referred to as a mid price point.
