Seems like e-tailer Play.com knows something that we don’t. At their recent event, they gave goody bags with booklets that listed, dated and even rated Fable 2’s release date for May 30. Even though all the previous reports state that the release is no earlier than October, CVG reports.
It is indeed rare to witness games being released months before there actual release date, we are assuming that this is indeed a huge mistake on part of Play.com. CVG has contacted Microsoft to get response on this obnoxiously juicy release date, they are pretty sure that the game won’t release till Christmas. We will update this post when we receive an official confirmation or denial from Microsoft.
