The gaming series of Asus notebooks is here! Asus launches one of the quickest gaming notebooks in India, the Asus G50V. This line is intended for a complete portable gaming experience, delivering high quality graphics coupled with commanding visual computing power.

With the launch of G50V we are strengthening our position in the high end notebook category in India. We are very excited about our new offering and are sure that Indian consumers will see immense value for a total gaming experience.”
The Asus utilizes the latest Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT with 512MB of external GDDR3 video RAM and comes with the Intel Core2 Duo processor with a processing speed of 2.8 GHz. The dual HDD model can have a maximum of 640 GB of internal storage space while the single HDD model can provide a maximum of 500 GB of hard drive space for all your data, movies, songs and of course games.
The G50V notebook is available with either a 15.4 or 15.6 inch screen. The device comes with a Blu-Ray DVD combo, an 8-in-1 card reader and a 2 megapixel web cam. The gadget also features a microphone-in jack, a headphone-out jack and 4 USB 2.0 ports.
The Asus G50V notebook also features a line of accessories that can be purchased separately. These include an optical mouse, a ‘Republic of Gamers’ backpack, a Siberia Steelseries headset for gaming and a TV remote control, antenna and receiver. The notebook comes with Windows Vista Ultimate or Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. However, Asus has not mentioned the price of the G50V gaming notebook.
