Raven Squad for Xbox 360 and PC Announced By SouthPeak Games

Usually if a game is a first person shooter, the developers come out with real-time strategy spin-off, as it was with Halo. In some cases it is vice versa, something like the Tiberium game from EA. Now SouthPeak Games has announced Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger, a game for the PC and the Xbox 360.

Melanie Mroz, chief executive officer, SouthPeak Games quoted, “Raven Squad combines two extremely popular genres into a single robust experience where either gameplay mode could stand on its own merits. Atomic Motion is creating something that’s visually compelling and building new boundaries in what a military title can accomplish. Fans of both RTS and FPS games are going to love it, as will anyone who enjoys intense, action titles.”

Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger is a real time strategy game mixed with a first person shooter. What makes the game interesting is that it lets users to switch freely between real-time strategy and first-person shooter gameplay. The game puts the gamers in control of two groups of mercenary squads in Amazonian jungle. The eight squad members have their own distinctive skills and weaponry.

Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger has been developed by Atomic Motion. The game will be out for the Xbox 360 and the PC later this year in autumn. The game promises to be a nice one and is set in the near future.
