EA Sports MMA Demo Unleashed

During E3 2009, EA revealed a plethora of titles for various consoles including a new fighting title dubbed MMA. The company has now released the EA Sports MMA demo for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Unfurling various elements which have been incorporated into the title, this demo allows gamers to glance through its multiple offerings.

The demo reveals exciting and significant information about the game including the innovative EA Sports Live Broadcast mode. It also acquaints players with modes such as Career, Fight Card, Create-A-Fighter, Fighter Share and Online Belt Race. In addition, sharing the demo with their friends will facilitate gamers to unlock a ‘Classic’ Randy Couture playable character.

The game sets a fighting stage for players, enabling them to choose from two weight classes namely heavyweight and middleweight. The former features the Strikeforce champion, Alistair Overeem, and wrestler Bobby Lashley while the latter boasts of Jiu-Jitsu fighters such as Jake Shields and Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller. Players can get started in the ‘Fight Now’ mode to test their prowess through four skill levels against several giants in the HP pavilion.

Sporting a genuine and intense mixed martial arts combat, the title makes it possible for gamers to control characters of top fighters while performing intensive actions. It will come with the ‘MMA 101’ interactive tutorial which puts rivals, Shield and Miller, face-to-face in a ring at the Japanese Horizon Center.

EA Sports MMA will launch this October 19 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The official pricing and availability details are still under the blanket.
