Multiple Front Covers of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 to Feature WWE Superstars

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 is noted to be a multi-platform professional wrestling game and twelfth title in the acclaimed SmackDown vs. Raw series. Now THQ reveals that eight World Wrestling Entertainment Superstars have been roped in to adorn the multiple covers of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011. Fans can expect to see the likes of Undertaker, John Cena and Big Show gracing the covers of the upcoming game.

The front cover art of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 for the US, Australia, New Zealand, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore will bear the images of The Miz, John Cena and Big Show. WWE fans situated across Europe can expect to see Undertaker, Sheamus and Randy Orton on the covers of the upcoming title. The company also discloses that additional regional covers will also be revealed in the following months.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 will enhance the player’s gameplay experience as the scenarios will unfurl based solely on the decisions made by them. This offers gamers spontaneity both in as well as out of the ring. Through the game’s Road to WrestleMania story-driven mode, players can expect high interactivity as well as creation and customization features. Creative tools are also provided for personalizing the WWE Superstars, story designs and finishing moves.

The game also comprises of a WWE Community Creations feature and a large roster complete with over 70 WWE Superstars and WWE Divas. The in-game model includes new movement technology, physics system and skin textures offering an authentic appearance. It is also further noted by the company that the use of multiple cover art variations is done very rarely in franchise history.

THQ plans to bring WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 to various platforms such as the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP and Nintendo Wii. The game is scheduled to hit shelves on October 26, 2010 with the exact pricing details still unclear at this point.
