Electronic Arts decided to do something real big for the launch of Battlefield Bad Company in India. EA along with Milestone Interactive held a press event for Battlefield Bad Company launch at Khar Gymkhana in suburban Mumbai. Ajay Khanna, who is the general manager of Electronic Arts India showcased the first person shooter at the launch ceremony whilst playing the dev videos and official trailers of Bad Company.
That not all! Winners of the recently held Vixture tournament were also present. They received their copies of Battlefield Bad Company. After that, the attendees were invited to take part in the Battlefield paintball! They had also set up PlayStation 3 consoles for the attendees of the Battlefield Bad Company launch event to check out the game.
Coming back to Battlefield Bad Company, if you are wondering how much would the game cost in India? Well, the normal version of Battlefield Bad Company comes with a price tag of Rs 2499. As for the Gold Edition of BFBC, it costs Rs. 2799 since it features a special packaging, behind the scenes content, multiplayer strategy videos and five exclusive weapon unlocks. These prices are for the PS3 version of Battlefield Bad Company.
As for the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield Bad Company, we got in touch with the PR of EA India, who informed us that the Gold Edition is available but the normal Xbox 360 version is still on its way. When we called a prominent retailer in Mumbai who stocks video games, he mentioned that the normal Xbox 360 version of Battlefield Bad Company will be here by Monday.
