“We are elevating the first person action hunting genre because it’s what fans demand. The game sees players vying for the title of ‘Super Hunter’ and to be initiated in ranks of the best hunting club. They can do this by getting the largest trophies from the most dangerous and fearful terrains across the globe. The more prized the animal, the harder it is to obtain. Gamers will have to cross mountains and sea while fending off treacherous perils along the way.

“Activision’s dedication to the hunting genre is real and the Cabela’s crowd has responded, year after year. It has been inspiring to work with them on Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2010 – we can’t wait for September!” commented Bryan Stave of Cabela’s.

New elements have been introduced into the game. These include a Vitals system which assists players in getting that right aim and shot as well as rewards for using cover to advance through the stages. The title is compatible with the Wii and players also receive an innovative Top Shot hunting peripheral especially for the console. This version also consists of 13 arcade style shooting galleries which include a 4-person multiplayer.
