The Nintendo Wii has lots and lots of games that are really abstract, but yet so innovative. One more game will join that list! Video games publisher THQ has announced Deadly Creatures, an action thriller game that will be released exclusively on the Nintendo Wii.

Nick Wlodyka is the executive producer and general manager at Rainbow Studios. He explains, “Deadly Creatures is a creepy, cinematic thrill ride, where the distinction between predator and prey can swing around every corner. With vicious motion-controlled combat, a dark compelling story and some of the best visuals to date on the Wii, we are excited to bring Deadly Creatures to a large core Wii audience that hungers for a new experience.”

Randy Shoemaker, Director, Global Brand Management, THQ says, “Deadly Creatures is an amazingly innovative game concept, and exemplifies THQ’s pledge to making original new IP for the Nintendo Wii platform. With Deadly Creatures, we are raising the bar for all 3rd party Wii titles, and focusing on deep, compelling gameplay for a largely untapped audience of Wii gamers.”

Deadly Creatures will feature an armored Scorpion and a deadly Tarantula. Gamers will play as them and fight against Gila monsters, lizards, black widows and many more frightening creatures. The intuitive motion controls will let gamers experience every pounce and tail sting. The game has a deep combo-based combat system.
