‘Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales’ to be Distributed by Atari

Atari has signed a deal with Playlogic Entertainment to distribute the latest action-adventure role-playing game Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales all over Europe, the US and Asia. Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales allows the gamers to become the mightiest and most feared pirate of the sea and to experience all the swaggering thrill and wild adventures of a pirate’s life on the Caribbean Sea during the 17th century.

Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales is developed by Russian developer Akella who have also created Sea Dogs, Age of Sail II, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales has a lot of gameplay options such as 16 different sail ships, varying weather conditions, day and night cycles, multiplayer battles with up to 16 opponents and multiplayer modes with Capture the Fort. Defend the Convoy, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch.

Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales will be released for the Windows platform in September 2006.
