Madden NFL 10 is the American Football video game, from Electronic Arts published under the EA Sports label, and was released in mid-August this year. Now EA Sports has announced the AFL Legacy pack game add-on for Madden NFL 10, in order to celebrate the fiftieth season for the eight original teams of the American Football League (AFL).
The game add-on brings the heritage of the AFL to the game with the 1960’s style presentation elements. Referees will be clad in the orange striped AFL uniforms and the fields are covered with official AFL markings and logos. The add-on will also bring a classic film grain styled broadcast camera and a football card-styled user interface.
Being represented by name, the eight original teams will wear their historic uniforms including the Kansas City Chiefs (as the Dallas Texans), Buffalo Bills, New York Jets (as the Titans of New York), Denver Broncos, New England Patriots (as the Boston Patriots), Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans (as the Houston Oilers) and the San Diego Chargers.
The AFL Legacy Pack game add-on will bring additional trophies to the PS3 and Achievements to the Xbox 360. The add-on will be available starting September 24, 2009 for 6.99 USD (approx. Rs. 340) from the PlayStation Network and for 560 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360.
