Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is the latest portable installment of the GTA series for the iPhone and portable consoles, the Nintendo DS and the PSP. Now we have word via the PlayStation Blog that the PSP version of GTA Chinatown Wars has released for UMD and on the PlayStation Network.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is actually the biggest portable iteration of GTA, and is even larger than Liberty City Stories or Vice City Stories. The PSP version of Chinatown Wars features re-optimized controls, and a high-resolution graphical overhaul which can only be done on the PSP platform, in addition to exclusive missions and music.
The game controls are much more responsive when playing on the PSP. When stealing certain vehicles, you must take apart the steering wheel to hotwire the car with the analog stick. The faster experience on the PSP also means better response when throwing projectile weapons, when on foot or while driving.
The blog post does not give information about the price of GTA Chinatown Wars.
