Sony has once again taken criticism in their stride. After being chided by gamers for very few games as well as the backward compatibility (or the lack of it) of the PS3, Sony has now decided to have 1000 PS2 titles PAL PS3 launch in Europe.
Sony’s Phil Harrison said, “The situation is changing every day, but on March 23, we expect the list to include over 1,000 PS2 titles. We can’t give any information about specific titles but, clearly, that would be our policy.”
A thousand titles, but then wouldn’t gamers have already played them. It seems PS3 gamers will have to wait for a long, long time till they can actually play next-gen games on the PS3, which, by the way, is a very good machine. But, no games to exploit the raw power of Sony’s next-gen console.
