Arguably the most anticipated game of 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 has hit store shelves finally but the launch hasn’t come without its fair share of controversies. Although the game was originally intended for last-gen consoles, these machines are the ones struggling to deal with the bountiful amount of bugs and glitches that have marred the game at launch. Needless to say, this issue has become fodder for an endless supply of memes that are showing no signs of waning down.
It has been observed that the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 runs anywhere at 720p or 900p resolutions. But that’s not all, there are reports of the game losing textures suddenly and all the visuals going downright blurry. Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry analysis has, moreover, found the PS4 version of the game running at as low as 15fps at certain points. As for the Xbox One, players are reporting hilariously low resolutions and game-breaking glitches.
Floating around the Internet right now are plenty of funny clips from the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077. We’ve added some of them in the space below for you to enjoy.

Of course, the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X versions of the game aren’t experiencing many such issues, but they too have their fair share of bugs to deal with. The PC version is of course, being dubbed the best version of the game. Those who have bought the game for the PS4 and the Xbox One might want to wait for a few days more for CD Projekt Red to roll out a patch that will make it more playable.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been almost a decade in the making and the hype around it has been of phenomenal proportions. The game managed to hit 1 million concurrent players on Steam and 1 million live viewers on Twitch on its launch day.
