South Park :The Fractured but Whole launched

Those who have played 2014’s hilarious and NSFW single player RPG, South Park: The Stick of Truth, will undoubtedly want to grab its sequel, South Park: The Fractured but Whole. It’s now available on Microsoft Windows PC, Xbox One and Sony PS4. Folks who haven’t had a go at the prequel need not worry since Ubisoft will be bundling it in along with the new game.

Rated 18 years and above (obviously), SP FBW places gamers in the shoes of the New Kid who must join Cartman and his gang of superheroes ”“ Coon and friends ”“ to keep the streets of their quiet Colorado town clean and also get rich through their very own superhero franchise. The last mentioned leads to the group splitting up into two factions, the rivals being named Freedom Pals.

While Stick of Truth reveled in the fantasy genre, Fractured but Whole dabbles in the superhero movie craze that seems to have partially crippled Hollywood at the moment. The game is steeped in typical NSFW South Park humor, amazing voice acting as expected and tactical combat. The looting and crafting mechanism has been reworked, and there are new ways to manipulate time and space.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole is selling for $59.99. A free copy of The Stick of Truth will be made available along with it until 31 January 2018. The reviews for it so far have been extremely positive. The game will also be sold in three special versions ”“ Collector’s Edition, Gold Edition and Steelbook Gold Edition.
