With its latest offerings on DSiWare, the gaming giant presents Derby Dogs and Triple Running Sports that are open for access through WiiWare.
Derby Dogs lets players partake in derby races with their dogs while feeding, training, breeding and raising them in several workout setups. Doghouses or meals can be bought from a virtual dog shop with the ability to rent new dogs. While these canines can be put to race across various courses to win prize money and titles, they can be bred to reproduce even better dogs. Accessing the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service, gamers can even contend against opponents online. In order to compete against other players, a broadband Internet connection will be needed.
Reported to be ‘one of the most advanced recreational running games’ offered on the WiiWare service, Triple Running Sports delivers sports events that for the most part comprise of activities which are conventionally inspired from combat and hunting skills. 100-meter, 400-meter Hurdles, Sprints and 1,500-meter race are open for adrenaline-pumped competitions in Triple Running Sports. Players are required to govern through finish-line surges and the timing of hurdle jumps as these also serve as significant factors in their triumphs.
Triple Running Sports is published by The Code Monkeys and is available on WiiWare for 500 Wii Points, whereas Derby Dogs is published by Aksys Games and is open for access on WiiWare with a purchase value of 500 Wii Points as well.
