Ubisoft Reveals Games Lined-Up for Nintendo 3DS

We’ve been quite occupied trying to sort out the plentiful of news generated by the Nintendo 3DS. Now, Ubisoft has uncovered that eight games from its lab will hit stores alongside the hardware’s release in the first half of this year. These include Driver Renegade, Rayman 3D, Combat of Giants Dinosaurs 3D, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell 3D, Rabbids Travel in Time, James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes, Asphalt 3D and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow Wars.

Delivering a platform experience, Rayman 3D has been crafted to splash the screen of the hardware with stunning graphics and advanced effects. Its construction makes optimum use of the handheld device’s Circle Pad while this iteration in the Rayman series will come upgraded on several fronts including accessibility, progression and learning curve.

Two titles from Tom Clancy’s portfolio too will make their mark on the console as the company revealed that its lineup comprises Ghost Recon Shadow Wars and Splinter Cell 3D. Inheriting rich elements from the famous series, these games are expected to dish out superior combat power on the device.

Ubisoft’s creative teams have developed a rich and diverse line-up of games that take advantage of the amazing innovations that Nintendo has designed with its new handheld platform,” commented Yves Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer at Ubisoft.

The iconic racing franchise from the house of Gameloft and Ubisoft will rush past onto the 3DS as well. Asphalt 3D is said to pack over 40 licensed vehicles, 17 race tracks along with the comprehensive StreetPass functionality in stereoscopic 3D. Another title in the lineup namely Driver Renegade will park the series’ hero John Tanner on the system in the midst of an intense and brutal urban car chases.

James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes allows players to don the role of the main character for solving mind-bending puzzles in an interactive land. Featuring more than 150 puzzles, this game will offer them a chance to zoom into a web of bewildering riddles. Combat of Giants Dinosaurs 3D and Rabbids Travel in Time have been incorporated into this roster for unfurling exploration and platforming adventures, respectively.

The gaming giant has not yet highlighted the exact pricing and availability details of these titles.
