3D Classics: Twin Bee Highlights This Week’s Nintendo Downloads

3D Classics: Twin Bee which is a 3DS port of the popular yesteryears game has been released exclusively for the handheld through this week’s Nintendo downloads. Aya and the Cubes of Light and 3D Pixel Racing are the two WiiWare launched this week alongside other handheld games like Escape Trick: Ninja Castle, Break Tactics. Furthermore, the Blue Man Group makes another entry into the Nintendo Video service with Foley Part 2.

3D Classics: Twin Bee

The arcade shooter, 3D Classics: Twin Bee is a vertical-scrolling game that originally made its debut on the Famicom system in Japan in the 80s. Players are faced with the basic objective of shooting through clouds and taking down aerial and ground enemies. Touted as being an hybrid of a of a puzzle platform game and a 3D action title, Aya and the Cubes of Light puts players in the shoes of Aya, the daughter of the Cube Corporation, who has to teleport cubes so as to get a cube engine working again. This WiiWare can be purchased at 1000 Points.

Alternatively, 3D Pixel Racing features 8-bit graphics and four ‘crazy’ game modes. A free demo of this game is also available for download besides the actual title which costs 500 Points. Escape Trick: Ninja Castle engages gamers in a mission to help the ninja to bypass a fortress while Break Tactics is a war game that requires players to deploy tactics and strategies in order to achieve victory. These two titles can be purchased for both 3DS as well as DSi.

3D Classics: Twin Bee, which underlines this week’s Nintendo downloads, can be purchased from the eShop at a price of 4.99 USD (approx Rs. 247). Both Escape Trick: Ninja Castle and Break Tactics now retail on the eShop and DSi Shop at 4.99 USD (approx Rs. 247) and 500 Points respectively.
