Golden Sun: Dark Dawn to Release This December Across Europe

Back in August, Nintendo announced the North American release of Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. The gaming giant has revealed that the title will enter the European market this December for the Nintendo DS family of systems. Continuing the legacy of the original Golden Sun series, this game is said to offer new gameplay features weaved together with engaging storyline and refined 3D graphics.

Set in the world of Weyard, the new title unleashes a changed picture of the landscape with the shift in continents and emergence of new countries. Gamers will initiate an adventurous journey for exploring diverse corners of the land with an elemental power dubbed Psynergy. This is said to bind together the power of earth, wind, water and fire which will come handy for defeating adversaries as well as cracking puzzles.

In the game, Weyard faces threat from Psynergy Vortexes which are spread across the globe. Players will have to don the role of Matthew who is a Venus Adept to save the world with some help from Terrel and Karis. The former has been touted to be a Mars Adept while the latter is a female Jupiter Adept. Along with these friends from distinct planets, gamers can also obtain aid from numerous Djinn embraced in the title.

The new gameplay features of this title incorporate the ability to react with different emotional responses. Players can choose an emotion to offer their reaction as they come across several characters and situations. In addition, the game will boast of a new Weapon Mastery feature which enables characters to hone their skills with specific type of arms. Lastly, they can select the optional Touch Screen command system for immersing in an intuitive gameplay experience.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn has been scheduled to release on December 12, 2010 across Europe for the Nintendo DS family of consoles.
