Portal

This port of Portal is part of a partnership between Valve and Nvidia which was announced at the ongoing GPU Technology Conference in California. Whether this companionship will last for just one game or will continue in the future as well is a matter that has our attention certainly. No details about how Portal will be adapted for the small screen of the Nvidia Shield have been provided as yet, neither is there a time frame for its release.

This game was first released in 2007 for PC and Xbox 360, while it later made its way to the PS3, Mac as well as Linux. Developed by Valve Corporation, it’s an action-based puzzle platformer which is based on the unique concept of a portal gun which can create inter-spatial gateways between two flat planes. The title had received immense critical acclaim which convinced the developers to come up with a sequel that was all the more brilliant than its predecessor.

Like we said, there’s no set date for Portal to be released for the Nvidia Shield console. Here’s a list of all the titles which can be played on the device right now.
