In recent times Indiagames, one of India’s biggest mobile and online games companies, has had a good deal of success in making movie-based games. Now they are coming out with a mobile game based on the much anticipated Dev D movie.
We were at the launch of Dev D the game held in Bandra, the 90210 of Mumbai. The two lead actresses Mahi and Kalki present to unveil the game, were more than happy to pose for the cameras. A small part of the game was demonstrated for promotional purposes and we must say it looks different from anything we’ve seen. The story draws you in and the graphics are not at all bad for a mobile game.
Dev D revolves around Dev played by Abhay Deol in the movie directed by Anurag Kashyap. Newcomers Kalki and Mahi play Chanda and Paro respectively in the movie and the game as well.

The game allows you to experience the world as Dev sees it; his trials, his feelings of love and his disappointments. Dev goes through a whole range of let-downs in love and life and reminisces about Paro and his split from Chanda. In the game Dev searches for Chanda to proclaim his love for her and to make things right.
There are also a variety of side missions in Dev D making this a very versatile game and reducing the likelihood of the player getting bored. In the game ‘Dev’ plays pub and bar games like darts to earn money for such reasons as to bribe security guards.
Indiagames hasn’t announced about the availability or price of Dev D. Also they haven’t mentioned the mobile platforms for their game.
