Forget vacations. Staycation is the trend this summer with GOG’s latest promotion of a range of Interplay games available on its website at 50% their original prices. The website has announced three packages of old games which are currently available for download on it.
The First package consists of three cRPG games, Fallout 1, Fallout 2 and Tactics which are priced at 2.99 USD (approx Rs. 134) each. All three of the games are successful PC titles from the past. Fans of the 90’s space combat thriller FreeSpace series can go for the second package consisting of FreeSpace and FreeSpace 2 also for 2.99 USD (approx Rs.134) each. The games require players to fight evil aliens named Shivans in a war at the end of which various mods and additional gameplay are available.
The last package covers an action adventure game named Giants: Citizen Kabuto also at the same price. The game features a giant creature called Kabuto which eats, buries or crushes everything in its way. Players can also take control of Meccaryns and Sea Reapers in this humorous game.
The three packages of GOG Staycation offered at a discount of 50% are available only up to July 4, 2011 on the website.
