Mad Catz Teams Up with Activision for Call of Duty: Black Ops Game Accessories

Earlier in the day we had reported that Mad Catz has acquired gaming audio headset provider Tritton Technologies. Now the company along with Activision will unveil officially branded controllers and accessories based on the Call of Duty: Black Ops game.

“Mad Catz has a history of delivering for the Call of Duty brand, which is why we are excited to work with them again this year on what we expect will be one of the biggest videogame releases of all time. I’m sure that fans of the Call of Duty franchise will be as excited as we are when they see what Treyarch and Mad Catz have planned for this fall’s release,” stated Dave Anderson, Activision’s Head of Business Development.

Mad Catz is back in the news for planning to unleash officially branded accessories and controllers which are fashioned upon the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops game. These offerings further take advantage of Mad Catz’s video and PC game accessories agreement with Activision Publishing. The agreement endows Mad Catz with exclusive global rights to a complete range of accessories fashioned for the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is developed by Treyarch and is scheduled to unveil all across the globe on November 9, 2010.
