Infinity Ward’s latest Call of Duty title, Modern Warfare 2 has just been released recently on November 10, 2009, and we managed to get our eager hands on a copy of the game’s Prestige Edition. The very special edition of the game comes in a huge box, complete with awesome night vision goggles.
The Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition includes a copy of the game in a hardened edition steelbook, a “behind the lines” concept art book, a Call of Duty Classic download token for Xbox Live Arcade, a night vision goggles set, and a “Soap” MacTavish bust which is to be used as a goggle stand.
Rather than the anticipated first person shooter, the night vision goggles were the highlight of the entire package, and everybody loved trying them on, while the rest made scary faces. The concept art book and the special case which contains the game disc are keepers.
Modern Warfare 2 features two-player co-op and can be run at 720p or 1080i or even 1080p. We snagged our copy of the game’s Prestige Edition for Rs. 9,999, a price quite high for a game, but considering the inclusion of night vision goggles, seemingly well worth it.
