Titanfall ready for two new modes and other additions

Titanfall will soon be getting a free patch for it which will infuse the shooter with two new modes as well as other features that are worth looking forward to for fans. This update is supposed to land later this month on the Xbox One and PC versions of the game, whereas the Xbox 360 edition will get it later on. Both the upcoming modes are now playable at Respawn Entertainment’s booth on the E3 floor.

Titanfall

First among the two modes is called Marked for Death and is a 6v6 matchup wherein one particular players from each of the two teams is marked for death. Described to be a fast paced mode, it asks teams to protect their marked players, while also going after enemy Pilots. The second mode is dubbed Wingman LTS and is a 2v2 variant of Last Titan Standing. The lessened number of Titans adds a more tactical touch to the whole affair.

Aside from this, new decals and Titan Burn cards will also form part of this update. And that’s not all; Titan customization options are on their way to Titanfall as well. You will be able to choose from three different voice over packs for your Titans. While Betty is already present in the current version of the game, Lisa and Jeeves will be added by the upcoming patch. Lastly, upgrades to matchmaking, burn card overflow protection, menu art and more will also be introduced through the patch.

There’s no particular release date available for this Titanfall update, but you can expect it to go live sometime later this month.
