Electronic Arts has launched a website in support of their next generation fantasy role-playing game, called Project Gray Company. The game has been in development for more than a year.
EA didn’t give out any detail about its latest project, not even a release date. EA only released a few pictures of the development team, concept art, and a short designer’s diary feature. Apart from this there’s also a designer diary video with creative director Chris Tremmel (LOTR: Return of the King).
Steve Gray, Project Gray Company’s executive producer says, “The action takes place in a massive open world where you can go anywhere you want, and the characters in this world are powered by an incredible simulation [artificial intelligence] based on the same technology used by the makers of The Sims 2. The story of the game is built around a series of Story Quests. You can choose to follow specific Story Quests, embark on a range of other types of quests, or set off on your own adventures in the massive open world environment.”
