Today, Microsoft announced that the Xbox Live Arcade game TotemBall, which makes use of the Xbox Live Vision Camera is now available as a free download. TotemBall portrays the user as Pterry the Pturtel. And since TotemBall has a gesture-based gameplay, users would need the Xbox Live Vision Camera to play.
The main aim of TotemBall is to uncover musical totems. The game also includes a juggling game, pinball, freeplay and a super challenge.
The Xbox Live Vision is acknowledged as Microsoft’s answer to rival Sony’s EyeToy. However, it remains to be seen if the users are of the same opinion.
Xbox Live Vision Camera started selling yesterday across Europe. So those of you who are eager to get their hands on this cool new method of gameplay need not wait any longer.
Till then, Microsoft is offering the TotemBall game for free, and it is just under 40MB in size. The developer of TotemBall, Strange Flavour has announced that they are in the process of developing two more titles
