Rayman Legends demo landing on PSN and Xbox Live today

Ubisoft has gone ahead and disclosed that the Rayman Legends demo for its PSN and Xbox Live versions is all set to be released later today in EMEA territories. And as far as its launch in North America is concerned, it will take place on August 20. The much delayed Rayman Legends already has two free demo versions on the Wii U eShop, but owners of the console are no doubt disappointed owing to the fact that despite originally having been a launch title for the console, it is still to be released for it.

Rayman Legends

This Rayman Legends demo is all set to introduce three different levels from the full game. Moreover, it will also grant gamers a look into the title’s fresh competitive Invasion Mode. The playable maps within this demo of Rayman Legends include Teensies in Trouble and Toad Story, as well as their Invasion Mode counterpart level. Additionally, a fan-favorite musical map called Castle Rock will be present as well.

Ubisoft has also mentioned that the Rayman Legends demo will come equipped with the Gallery of Heroes where gamers are able to swap costumes of their characters and more. This title is scheduled to be launched for the Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360 and the PS Vita on September 3 this year in North America. In Europe, it will be seen coming out a few days later, on September 3. Only owners of Nintendo’s console however, will be able to take control of a fifth character, Murfy, using the GamePad controller.

Like we said, the demo versions of Rayman Legends should go live on PSN and Xbox Live later today for residents of EMEA regions.
