It has been now finalized as the game’s publisher has substantiated Dead Money, the first downloadable content for the game that will be accessible exclusively for Xbox 360 via Xbox Live starting next month.

Fallout: New Vegas

Marching through the ominous world of Las Vegas, gamers playing as victim of a raw deal, will team up with three other captured wastelanders to reclaim the legendary treasure of the Sierra Madre Casino. Venturing on a lethal journey across new terrains, choices and foes, players will decide their fate by choosing appropriately employing their survival strategies within Dead Money.

“We’re pleased to give fans a chance to expand their experience in Fallout: New Vegas this December with Dead Money,” stated Pete Hines, VP of PR and Marketing for Bethesda Softworks. “The release of Dead Money illustrates our commitment to creating entertaining add-on content for players to enjoy in already massive games like Fallout: New Vegas.”

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment and established in post-apocalyptic age of 2281, Fallout: New Vegas shoots off 4 years after the happenings of Fallout 3 and delivers a blend of humor, grime and grit to the critically-acclaimed series. The game puts players in the act of The Courier who is delivering a package with a platinum poker chip to New Vegas and encounters numerous obstacles on his way to his objective.

Dead Money is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2010 and will be downloadable at a price of 800 Microsoft Points exclusively for Xbox 360 via Xbox Live.
