Konami has announced that the company will publish N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights for the Xbox 360, the sequel to the 2006 fantasy hack and slash video game N3: Ninety-Nine Nights. The story of N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights takes the game to new heights, picking up where the original left off.
The sequel is set on a ravaged world and features a story from five different perspectives, including humans, elves, and goblins. The game is a vast combat title with hundreds of enemy creatures appearing on the screen at the same time. Players can use a variety of combo attacks to go through the enemy hordes, and can also use whatever weapons and items come to hand.
N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights also features a two-player co-op online mode in which players can team up to fight off oncoming hordes and expand their combo range. This mode has online ranking boards which detail the most effective partnerships across the globe.
N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights is scheduled to release in the spring of 2010 for the Xbox 360 console. Pricing is not known at this point.
