Call of Duty 4 Trailer Finally Released by Activision

Call of Duty 4 Trailer Released

Last week, after the developers hinted on the forums that they would be coming up with some big news, Activision confirmed Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is in the works and they will release a trailer during the NFL Draft on Saturday.

True to their word, the trailer not only debuted on the television, it also appeared on the Charlie Oscar Delta Website. Check it out:

The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare starts with a shot of a man with a thick mustache in a helicopter. It then shows truckloads of environments, vehicles, and soldiers. As we had predicted, the game appears to take place in various settings, most probably in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Initially, you feel that you are watching an archive from the CNN Gulf War footage. Soldiers in standard-issue military gear, sniper or special operatives gear are lurking in the environments. Attack helicopters, naval vessels, and tanks are all significantly shown off, but it is still uncertain as to how many of them would be interactive.

COD 4: Modern Warfare looks great, but Activision has not released any details about the platforms. But I have a feeling that the game will release on all the major console platforms. Let’s hope they also release it on the PC.
