Scratches: Director’s Cut Announced by Got Game Entertainment

Got Game Entertainment has stated that they are publishing “Scratches: Director’s Cut”. The game will have an even more terrifying take on the successful atmospheric mystery adventure game for the PC, brimming with uncanny twists and terrifying surprises.

    In “Scratches: Director’s Cut”, a cautious combination of inventory-based and deductive-style puzzles, integrated with a fascinating storyline, non-linear gameplay, elaborately detailed graphics, and an captivating soundtrack, immerse you in an even more haunting gothic atmosphere. As a famed horror writer isolated by a washed out road at the dark and mysterious Blackwood Manor, you search for clues to a long-held mystery. Exploring every dark corner of the mansion and its untended grounds via point-and-click interface, you examine, probe, and search for your way through stuffy rooms, an overrun greenhouse, an ominous chapel, and a sinister crypt. As your investigation deepens, you slowly become aware of one horrifying fact: you are not alone.

Scratches: Director’s Cut will also have new, revealing thoughts from the main character in “Michael’s Diary”, and an alternate control method with fixed mouse, FPS-like movement. Scratches was first released in 2006 and had received decent reviews. Scratches: Director’s Cut will release for the PC in April 2007 and will cost $19.99 (approx. Rs. 900). Got Game is also planning to release a Mac version of the game in May.
