Usually companies send out proper statements when announcing new features in a game or when it has been delayed. Gamecock Media Group is different. They say that their forthcoming Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball game has been delayed due to, well, pirates! Anyways, that is not the case as they are just announcing a new game mode.

Besides the free-flinging arcade dodgeball events in Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball, gamers can also expect more traditional rules dodgeball modes where teams continue only on their side and multiple dodgeballs are in play. Now gamers have something more to look forward to along with the Peg-Leg Stomps and Shuriken Attacks modes.

As for their pirated game story, the studio director at Blazing Lizard, Christopher Stockman gives his version, “We see the irony in all this. Rest assured, we have a crack team of Ninjas on the case and hunting down all pirates. On the positive side it gives us a chance to go back and add in additional content to the game.”

Pirates Vs Ninjas Dodgeball is being developed by Blazing Lizard and will be published by Gamecock Media Group. The game is expected to be out on the Xbox Live Arcade in the spring season of this year.
