Giving a complete Civilization IV experience, in one value pack without DRM, 2K Games announces that Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: The Complete Edition can now be purchased from stores all across North America. This Civilization IV complete edition has been developed by 2K’s Firaxis Games and merges the Civilization IV with three expansions, Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Warlords, Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword, and Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Colonization.
Sid Meier’s Civilization IV is the latest in the Civilization series and features new tools for civilization growth and management, numerous multiplayer options and modes, and new ways to play the game. The Warlords expansion adds new challenges to the scenarios in the game. For example, in the Barbarians scenario, players can control hordes of huge, powerful warriors, while in the scenario Omens, France and Great Britain rush to colonise North America. Beyond the Sword, released in 2007, features 11 different scenarios focusing on time periods after the invention of gun powder. This expansion contains 10 completely new civilizations, 5 new wonders, sixteen new leaders, and a host of new units to add to the level of complexity as players expand their civilization. And finally, the Colonization expansion, a standalone experience, lets players guide one of four European nations to rule the entire New World. Players must explore the New World conquering everything that they possibly can, gaining power as they fight for independence and freedom.
