Demos of The Darkness II and UFC Undisputed 3 Arriving on PSN Tomorrow

PSN accounts holders are in for a busy week ahead it seems, as demo versions of The Darkness II and UFC Undisputed 3 are all set to be made available to them for free this week. Moreover, a demo of PixelJunk Shooter will also be released on the service along with full PS3 downloads of Mortal Kombat, Daytona USA, Duke Nukem: Forever and ScaryGirl.

The Darkness II

The Darkness II acts as a sequel to the much loved first person shooter which was released back in 2007. It is scheduled to arrive with single-player, multiplayer as well as co-op offerings on February 10, 2012. On the other hand, UFC Undisputed 3 is a mixed martial arts game which features most of the lineup from the popular UFC franchise. It will be seen coming out on February 14. Other PSN releases this week are highlighted by downloadable versions of previously-launched titles. Duke Nukem: Forever was released in June last year to not so favorable reviews, while Daytona USA is a remake of Sega’s classic racing game. Scarygirl, which also goes on sale tomorrow, is an adventure title based on a graphic novel of the same name. As mentioned on the official PlayStation blog, it revolves around an abandoned child with a tentacle arm, who dresses like a pirate, and is haunted by a strange man in her dreams.

Furthermore, a downloadable version of last year’s Mortal Kombat will also be released through PSN this week. Several new game modes as well as fresh gameplay additions formed a part of this title when it was outed back in June 2011. Lastly, the PS minis that are gearing up for release include Bermuda Triangle, Gold Medalist and Stick Man Rescue.

While the demos of The Darkness II and UFC Undisputed 3 will be available for free, pricing for all the other games will be made known with tomorrow’s PS Store update.
