A few weeks ago, we had reported about Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. Now, the arena-based online vehicle sports title is available for download across Europe on the PlayStation Network for the PS3.
In Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, players can choose between a wide variety of awe-inspiring rocket-propelled cars which can launch themselves into the air with boosters or accelerate at lightning speeds on the ground. When in air, cars can perform a number of maneuvers like flips, spins, jumps and rolls. The game also offers a team-based football match filled with pristine shots, magnificent saves and supersonic destructiveness.
The version of SARPBC released in Europe includes the US update containing a new ‘Cosmic’ arena and improved performance in network games among many other features.
“We’ve really been looking forward to releasing Battle-Cars in Europe,” commented Dave Hagewood, Founder and Director of Development at Psyonix Studios. “In addition, we have already begun planning for community-based events and challenges that will pit gamers against developers!”
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars features single player matches and mini-games and has team and league matches as well as scrimmage matches online. The game allows players to save their victories and battle-car stunts to their PS3 hard-drives. They can even upload these clips on YouTube. The game has statistical tracking, rankings and rewards.
A free trial of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars is now available, which has players from the full version in both offline and online gameplay. It will cost GBP 7.99 (approx. Rs. 555) to update to the full version.
