The Halo fever seems to have everyone in a grip off late! A couple of weeks ago we had reported a rumor that had been doing rounds of a Halo game being shown off at the Tokyo Game Show being organized a few days from now, with the confirmation of Ryan Payton being a part of Microsoft Game Studios.
Here is more confirmation of the next Halo game being developed by Bungie and showcased at the Tokyo Game Show 2008 (via Edge Online):
“The confirmation of the hirings comes days before the Tokyo Game Show, where, according to the Microsoft rep, Halo house Bungie will be making a major announcement regarding the recently-released Halo teaser video”
The last paragraph clearly shows the importance of the Halo series for Microsoft and the incessant obsession with wowing gamers by taking the series to fresh levels of stardom.
