The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt starts getting its New Game Plus mode

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has just started receiving its last piece of free DLC in the form of a New Game Plus mode. Available for the Xbox One version of the game by means of a pacth right now, it should reach the PC and PS4 versions pretty soon as well.

As you know, a New Game Plus mode allows you to replay the title from the start, while keeping your level-up progress intact. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an extremely long game, but it’s still worth replaying if you ask us.

This title’s New Game Plus mode actually comes with some limitations though, which is sure to disappoint fans. Firstly, if you happen to be at level 30 or higher at the start, your level will remain the same, as revealed by CD Projekt RED’s community lead and website coordinator, Marcin Momot.

Those who haven’t reached that level, will automatically be bumped up to 30 once they start with the New Game Plus mode of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Additionally, you’ll need to take a clearing potion at the start of the game, which will reset your previously selected skills.
