Microsoft has stated that Luxor 2 will be the next Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) game. The puzzle game is set in the pyramids of Egypt and sees gamers solve different types of puzzles.
Luxor 2 for XBLA Overview:
- In the next installment of the No. 1 casual game of 2005, “LUXOR 2” from MumboJumbo, gamers travel through 88 gracefully detailed and explosive levels shooting and destroying the magical balls that threaten the pyramids at the end of their paths. gamers can earn up to 15 exciting power-ups, play through four discrete levels of difficulty, challenge themselves to a total of 13 bonus rounds and work their way up through the new 100-level player ranking system. Also, exceptional to the Xbox LIVE Arcade version is a new arcade-style mode of play called the Pharaoh’s Challenge.
Luxor 2 will available for download on Wednesday morning. The game will cost 400 Microsoft points or $5 (approx. Rs. 220). It is a good thing that Microsoft is introducing games like Luxor as the Xbox 360 badly needs puzzle games.
