From the time Jade Empire has been released for the Xbox, there have been indications about a sequel to the action role playing game for Microsoft’s next generation console. Now Mercury News Blog is reporting that Jade Empire 2 for the Xbox 360 is already under development at BioWare.
Ray Muzyka, who is the joint chief executive officer of BioWare, had said something about Jade Empire 2 three years ago. Now someone who has seen the code for the sequel to Jade Empire 2 has confirmed the game and it seems that the game will come on the Xbox 360. However, it is not clear whether Jade Empire will come on the PC platform too.
Though Jade Empire was first released on the Xbox in 2005, a Special Edition PC version of the game was released in the early part of last year. It was based on the Limited Edition of Jade Empire for the Xbox. There is still no word on the launch dates of Jade Empire 2 for Xbox 360. Developers BioWare were bought by EA in October 2007.
