If Guitar Hero is coming on the Wii, then why should Rock Band stay behind! According to GameSpot, Harmonix and MTV’s forthcoming game, Rock Band could find its way on Nintendo’s next gen console.
A reader who was a focus group participant for the game informed GameSpot that they were told that Rock Band would also come on the Wii along with the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Along with that, the focus group participants were also informed that Rock Band’s list would feature only original artists. The drum peripheral would have a kick pedal and real sticks.
However, a spokesperson from Harmonix denied the Wii speculation saying, “We are conducting consumer focus groups for Rock Band but have not finalized any pricing or packaging details. Any speculation at this point is just that, speculation.”
But then, how many times has this happened. A rumor about a game surfaces, then the company, which is responsible for the game denies about it and after a few days, they send an official press release!
