New downloadable games have once again been announced much to the delight of Nintendo Wii and DS console owners. This week features tiles like Mega Man 4 – NES for Virtual Console while WiiWare includes Rage of the Gladiator and Bloons. The Nintendo DSiWare this time includes Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs – Fight For Survival, Pocket Pack: Words & Numbers, System Flaw: Recruit and Mr. Driller Drill Till You Drop.
In Mega Man 4 – NES, the hero is once again called upon to save the day. The captivating gameplay featured in its predecessors is also seen present here. This iteration however gives players the capability to charge and fire a more damaging blast from the Mega Buster.
Rage of the Gladiator is noted to be a fantasy-based fighting game where gamers must defeat all the opponents in the arena. The game includes insane finishing moves, full voice acting and 3D graphics. The puzzle game Bloons comprises of many levels complete with different arrangements. It also offers gamers the ability to fashion their own balloon puzzles.
Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs – Fight For Survival lets gamers adorn the role of any one out of 3 breeds of dinosaur as they traverse through hostile lands and battle foes in an effort to save your kin. Mr. Driller Drill Till You Drop features Mission mode and Time Attack mode. It also lets players gather precious Dristones in the Dristone mode which is a DS exclusive offering.
Pocket Pack: Words & Numbers is a complete collection of word and number games. These include Anagrams, Kakuro, Word Guess, Sudoku and Word Cubes. Gamers can indulge in gameplay either wirelessly or via DS Download. The action shooter title dubbed as System Flaw: Recruit utilizes the camera in order to make the surroundings a playing environment. It also provides players with 100 action packed levels.
All these titles for the Wii and DS can be downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop directly for Nintendo Points. The exact pricing is unclear at this point.
