Harmonix and MTV Games have witnessed widespread applause for their Rock Band iterations on various platforms. The two companies have now joined hands with EA Mobile for the release of Rock Band Reloaded on the App Store. Reaching out Apple’s devices including the iPod touch and iPhone, the company has also crafted the HD version of the game exclusively for the iPad.
As the title reaches the mobile gaming arena, it will spread out a setlist comprising tracks from artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Billy Idol, Nirvana, Vampire Weekend and No Doubt. Gamers can not only strum the guitar but also render their vocals as they groove to songs including ‘Kryptonite’ by 3 Doors Down, Alice in Chains’ ‘Your Decision’ and ‘A-Punk’ from Vampire Weekend’s compilations. This ‘5th Way to Play’ is expected to introduce a new level of interactivity in the game, allowing players to put up a classic performance and rack maximum points.

This version of the title also encloses the new ‘Big Drums’ layout while its flexible controls enable gamers to customize play styles as per their convenience. Besides, they can create their personal playlists through an ‘Encore’ feature in Quick Play and replay. Band mates will also have the opportunity to groove across different devices through a local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection.
In addition to ‘White Wedding’ by Billy Idol and Nirvana’s ‘Bloom’, gamers can lay their hands on supplementary free tracks as well as Premium Packs. These packs have been compiled with songs from The All American Rejects, Third Eye Blind, Blink-182 and others. Those who like to flaunt their harmonic skills can tune into the new Expert mode while the World Tour mode will let gamers perform across six cities through 36 events. These performances will help them to achieve 50 awards and achievements.
