New 250GB Xbox 360 Console Comes to India

More storage capacity is the need of the hour and it appears like the respective gaming companies are catering to such requirements of gamers. Back in March, a new Xbox 360 250GB hard drive was introduced while Microsoft launched an Xbox 260 console complete with 250GB HDD this June. Now the company brings the new 250GB Xbox 360 gaming system to India drenched in a black gloss finish.

This slim console is optimized for offering controller-free experiences endowed by the Kinect later this year. The new offering is packed with integrated Wi-Fi and provides connectivity to Xbox Live. The large disk space comes in handy while storing loads of games, music and game add-ons among others.

Ashim Mathur, Director Marketing, Entertainment & Devices Division, Microsoft Corporation India explained, “The new 250 GB Xbox 360 console will bring about a paradigm shift in the way gaming is perceived in India as it comes prepared for the future. With this new Xbox 360 launch, we are enabling our customers with the best connected experience making gaming more entertaining and interactive. With more storage space one can store many more blockbuster games on the console itself and can also connect with others on Xbox Live, the world’s largest gaming social network.”

Boasting of better cooling and quieter operation, the sleek system also includes a touch-sensitive power button. There are five USB ports complete with one dedicated Kinect port as well as onboard optical digital audio. Players are also treated to an Xbox 360 wireless controller, headset and composite A/V cable.

The new 250GB Xbox 360 console will be available in India for an estimated retail price of Rs. 21, 990.
