The uDraw boasts of a sleek and contemporary design that would integrate console controls right on the device. High definition art creation and gameplay is what’s included as part of its new appearance. A long drawing time should give artists a much more creative experience with the device. Direct touchscreen controls offer the option of pinch-and-stretch and rotation features.

“As soon as we introduced uDraw last year, Xbox 360 and PS3 fans began asking when they could experience it, too – and beginning this fall, they can,” mentioned Farrell, THQ’s President and CEO. “The uDraw offers amazing innovation and opens new doors of artistic possibility. There’s no console-based artistic tool like it.”

The new version of the uDraw Studio software, namely UDraw Studio: Instant Artist, will bring the original functions of the device on user’s television. It is expected to be revealed alongside the uDraw in the holiday season. The software package will offer an expansive guided tutorial to teach new artists the basics of art and design. The interface is user friendly, with the tools staying on the screen at all times. The software will let artists draw, send and share their artwork online.

THQ is in production for new uDraw titles and specifically Pictionary: Ultimate Edition will be out in the next six months for both the HD-capable uDraw and the Wii compatible device. Along with the familiar quick sketches and crazy guesses, new clues and functionality arrive as an added perk.

THQ anticipates introducing more titles for uDraw 2011 and 2012.

The uDraw GameTablet for Xbox 360 and PS3 will be available for enthusiasts this fall.
